Privacy Policy

We collect the least we can, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted by asking.
What we collect
When you buy or donate: your name, email, phone number, and — for business sponsors — your business name, website, and social handles so we can thank you publicly.
When you sign up for a concession shift: your name, email, whether you're a student or a parent, and which program your volunteer point supports.
When you tell us you're an alum: your graduation year, activities, and whatever message you choose to leave — all optional, and you control whether your name shows publicly on the alumni wall or not.
We never see your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure pages. Card numbers, expiration dates, and security codes never touch our website or our database. We can see the last four digits and whether a payment succeeded — that's all.
Why we collect it
To send your receipt and tax acknowledgment, to deliver what you ordered, to thank sponsors publicly the way they asked to be thanked, to remind volunteers about shifts they signed up for, and to keep the financial records a 501(c)(3) is required to keep.
That's the whole list. We don't build profiles and we don't track you around the internet.
Students and minors
High school students can sign up for concession shifts to earn service hours. For a student we collect a name, an email, and the shifts worked — nothing more. We don't ask for a birthdate, a home address, or a phone number.
Service-hour totals are shared with the student and, on request, with the school for verification. A parent or guardian can email us to see, correct, or delete their student's information at any time.
This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, tell us and we'll delete it.
Who we share it with
We share information with exactly three kinds of people:
- Service providers who run the site — Stripe (payments), Resend (receipt and reminder emails), Supabase (our database), and Vercel (hosting). They may only use it to provide that service.
- Board members and committee volunteers who need it to do their job — the treasurer for bookkeeping, the concessions coordinator for shift lists, the spirit wear team for pickups.
- Anyone the law requires — for example, records an auditor or the IRS is entitled to see.
We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. We won't add you to a newsletter because you bought a t-shirt.
What's public and what isn't
Business sponsors are thanked publicly — that's the point of a sponsorship — with the business name, logo, and links you gave us. Individual donors are never listed publicly unless you explicitly ask to be.
On the alumni wall you choose what shows: your name and class year, class year only, or fully anonymous.
The concessions leaderboard shows points by program — never individual names and never dollar amounts.
How long we keep it
Financial records are kept seven years, which is what the IRS expects of a 501(c)(3). Volunteer signup and shift history is kept through the end of the following school year. Anything else we delete when it stops being useful.
Getting your information, or getting it deleted
Email prboostersdirectorfundraising@gmail.com and ask. We'll send you a copy of what we have, correct anything wrong, or delete it.
The one exception: completed financial transactions have to stay in our books for the seven-year retention period above. We can remove you from everything else.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep your cart and your sign-in working. We don't run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you off this site.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change actually matters — a new category of data, a new provider — we'll say so on the site rather than quietly editing this page.
